New Goals

Imagine a world of reverse symptoms, where the pain ebbs away and joy takes its place.

... feeling good about work again, greeting each day with the knowledge that you do a great job, and that it is enough.

... enjoying co-workers again, feeling empathy with clients and patients, remembering how good it feels to help those in need.

... waking up feeling refreshed and energetic, ready to enjoy your leisure time, looking forward to going out, seeing friends, spending quality time with loved ones.

Now imagine that most days are like that. You feel good about yourself and your life, and you know you are making a difference.

Those days can be yours when we work together. Contact me to schedule your introductory call.

"I've been working with Meryl for a few months, and my symptoms are much better. Work can still be hard, but now I have coping skills that I didn't have before. Best of all, my free time is fun again. I feel like I have my life back."

What is the

A.C.T.I.O.N. Model?

The A.C.T.I.O.N. Model is a structured system by which to identify and address a problem. Once you have learned the model, you’ve got a friend for life. You can return to the structure over and over again, whenever you’re faced with a challenge.

When you develop a mindful approach to challenges by using the A.C.T.I.O.N. Model, you can pinpoint the problem, uncover the cause, and decide on the best tools and strategies to use to address it.

Will using the A.C.T.I.O.N. Model make your Compassion Fatigue go away?

Maybe, maybe not. Working with me and learning to use the A.C.T.I.O.N. Model is a great first step, and sometimes it’s all you need. But Compassion Fatigue is complicated, and some of you may need more resources than what coaching has to offer. If we see that that’s true for you, don’t worry. I’ll be with you every step of the way, and I will help you find the additional resources you need.

Yes, Compassion Fatigue is complicated. But I promise you, it is manageable. You can come out the other side and enjoy your life and work again. So take that first step, right now, and contact me to get started.

  • First, we’ll have an introductory call, where you’ll tell me a bit about yourself and what you’re experiencing, and I’ll tell you a little bit about Compassion Fatigue. We’ll decide together if Compassion Fatigue coaching is what you need, and if I’m the right coach for you.

  • Once we decide to move forward, we'll schedule our first coaching session. Sessions are 45 minutes long and may take place by phone, in person or by Zoom.

  • Coaching sessions typically take place weekly, and there are accountability check-ins between sessions.

  • You will learn tools and strategies to manage your Compassion Fatigue so that you can live your best life, fully and successfully.
